I think it is kid friendly, the flavors are mild vs. rich. I prefer really rich soul food. I cook alot of soul food and I use plentiful seasoning, pork, and butter to add to the flavors. This restaurant uses basic really neutral seasonings so if you are diabetic or have a special diet it will be great for you. If you are looking for Christmas or Thanksgiving at Grandma's house this is not that type of Soul Food.

Yes!! Great only on certain days. But, what we do is is get the fried pork chops and add gravy to them. Right now their closed down due to a fire.
